WHAT DO LOCAL AUTHORITIES NEED
TO DELIVER ECO FLEX
In order to successfully deliver ECO Flex eligibility to your residents, a Local Authority will need:
Streamlined workflow that is easy to administer
Easy to understand Statement of Intent (SOI), outlining eligibility criteria for residents
Thorough background check of organisations wishing to offer LA Flex measures to your residents
Robust, but sympathetic, eligibility check for residents who apply
System that involves minimal, officer input, but provides 100% compliance
To be totally UK GDPR compliant through the whole process
WHO WE ARE
What Have We Achieved?
HEATFlex have been administering, on behalf of Local Authorities, LA Flex and other government and business grant funded schemes for many years.
Since LA Flex eligibility was released HEAT Flex have processed in excess of 3500 applications from householders across a number of Local Authority districts, bringing energy efficiency measures to those resident in fuel poverty and / or suffering cold related illnesses who were not eligible under the traditional benefits route.
Now with the release of ECO4 Flex HEATFlex are able to assist Local Authorities to manage the new ECO4 Flex process to ensure compliance with the new requirements.

How it Works
1 - DELIVERY ORGANISATION PRE-VERIFICATION
Ensuring Quality for Residents
The approval process for deliverers wishing to offer LA Flex comprises:
Checks undertaken on the company / organisation and its directors
Confirmation that the correct certifications and insurances are held for the services being proposed
Checks to ensure that the company complies with the GDPR
Codes of conduct to ensure that sales practices meet the requirements of the Local Authority e.g. no pressure selling, cold calling, targeting vulnerable residents etc.
